Purpose
The Regional Director is a key role in achieving strategic growth for the Dollywood Foundation U.K. The Regional Director develops, plans, and executes strategic and tactical initiatives to expand and support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Within Scotland, the Regional Director applies a consultative approach to replicate, launch, and grow Imagination Library programmes, coaches local partners to sustain existing community programmes, and strategically curates and manages local authority-wide programmes.
Primary Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Be a ‘personal representative’ for Dolly Parton and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library;
- Work in close collaboration with Executive Director UK to execute programme development goals in Scotland;
- Identify opportunities to establish new Imagination Library programmes;
- Provide information and be a guiding resource to ‘Start a Programme’ interest to replicate, launch, and grow Imagination Library programmes successfully. Host regular informational sessions for interested participants;
- Provide localised support to existing Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library partners to grow, sustain, and energise programmes;
- Perform a wide range of complex duties and responsibilities in curating and managing local authority-wide Imagination Library programmes, exercise independent judgement, and have delegated decision-making authority to guide local authorities to achieve full coverage and full enrolment;

- Cultivate and advance Imagination Library programmes through onboarding, implementation, and maintenance phases to increase the velocity of coverage areas and enrolment;
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment between teams (Dollywood Foundation UK, Dollywood Foundation, National Programme Partners) and Local Programme Partners;
- Work with DWF Marketing to ensure all brand resources adhere to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library brand guidelines;
- Provide excellent customer service by proactivelymanaging contact with stakeholders daily, with timely responses to emails and telephone inquiries;
- Periodic travel for training, information, and planning sessions;
- Travel to the U.S. will be required occasionally to attend DWF meetings and conferences;
- Support Operations Team as needed;
- Support Finance Teams with monthly accounts receivable, distressed programme partners, and other finance issues as needed;
- Prepare accurate and timely reports as requested;
- Maintain strict confidentiality and excellent judgement regarding privileged information;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
