Thank you for your interest in joining our team. Our mission is to inspire a love of reading in children across the UK from birth to age five through our flagship programme, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
As the largest international book-gifting programme in the world, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library operates in five countries and has gifted over 250 million books since its inception in the USA in 1995, currently providing more than 3 million books to children each month.
The Dollywood Foundation launched the Imagination Library in the UK in 2007, and in the Republic of Ireland in 2019, and we are committed to extending our reach to children in key areas while sustaining and growing our existing programmes. We have already gifted over 6 million books to children under five in the UK and Ireland, and we are eager to do even more for our communities.
As the Executive Director, you will develop and lead the growth of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library at scale for the Dollywood Foundation UK. You will be an excellent communicator, a competent decision-maker, and an effective leader, manager, and strategist. You will also be a relationship builder, horizon scanner, and possessor of self-drive and determination.
As the Regional Director for Scotland, you will replicate, launch, and grow Imagination Library programmes, coach local partners to sustain existing community projects, and strategically curate and manage local authority-wide initiatives.
