Experience
- Track record of success, driving growth and over-performance against targets and objectives
- Experience and proven success working at Executive and or Board level gained from the NFP sector
- Experience of managing senior level employees and of leadership through change and ambiguity across disparate employee groups, in dispersed geographical settings
- Charity sector/not for profit experience in a commercially orientated charity/organisation at a similar scale and brand profile of Cats Protection
- Significant Brand, Marketing and Income Generation Experience
- Proven experience and expertise across a spectrum of fundraising streams – incorporating high value and mass fundraising
- Leadership experience in developing retail/trading/merchandise
- Experience of developing and negotiating high value relationships (£1m+) and multiyear strategic partnerships with individuals and organisations
- Substantial senior management experience which has included evaluating and improving organisational performance, and planning, implementing and managing
- Significant Brand building experience
- Significant experience of developing and implementing successful development strategies in line with an organisation’s strategic aims
- Significant experience of planning, including setting, managing and monitoring budgets
- Significant experience in cultural, change and relationship management
- Experience of managing risks associated with Income Generation, events, safeguarding, retail and customer contact

Knowledge and qualifications
- Excellent CRM, B-C Marketing, Fundraising
- Previous experience working in the not-for-profit sector
- Demonstrable experience of running multi-channel income streams
- Degree in Marketing or similar – BA/BSc in Marketing
- Member of the IOF – Chartered Institute of Fundraising
- Member of the CIM – Chartered Institute of Marketing
