Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with significant post qualification experience
- Senior finance leadership in investment management, private assets, fund management/accounting or private equity
- Deep understanding of UK GAAP, investment reporting, and internal control frameworks
- Proven ability to lead finance teams and develop high performing professionals
- Demonstrated experience of producing insightful business performance analysis, forecasting and strategic reports
- Experience of working with board/board committees, senior colleagues and managing relationships with external advisors
Desirable
- Social investment experience
- FCA regulatory reporting
- Practical tax experience and oversight
- Knowledge and familiarity with IPEV valuation guidelines
Skills, Abilities and Attributes
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and experience with accounting IT systems. ‘Tech savvy’, quick to learn new tools and adapt to evolving technologies
- Strategic thinker with the ability to zoom out and analyse the big picture while also engaging hands on with operational tasks

- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to apply statutory principles, guidelines and legislation in practice
