Following the implementation of a major programme of transformation, BRE Group is looking for a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into a fresh era. As the built environment sector continues to change, particularly with sustainability and digital increasingly high on the agenda, BRE finds itself at a consequential and exciting crossroads.
In brief, the role of our CEO will be to make sure we always know where we’re going and how to get there, working closely with the BRE Trust, BRE Group Board, staff colleagues and our partners. We are a multidisciplinary organisation that contributes to a thriving and sustainable world by developing science-led solutions to built environment challenges, driving innovation and research in the UK and globally. Our CEO will ensure that we continue to be at the cutting edge of progress in the built environment.
With a new strategy agreed BRE is facing a significant transition point, and we are looking for an ambitious CEO to shape a future that might be different to our past. Governed by a non-profit trust, we strike a balance of purpose and profit, with profits reinvested for the good of the sector. As such, we need to remain innovative and commercially sharp.
BRE comprises over 500 colleagues across the UK, Ireland, USA, Europe and China, headquartered in Watford. Our CEO will lead the Executive Team, creating the conditions for them to thrive and making sure that BRE is a full integrated, financially sustainable organisation. Crucially, you will be a steward of our culture, ensuring that as we evolve and grow, we are an inclusive, participatory, welcoming place to work that encourages ambition and passion.
This is a really exciting time to join BRE, with appetite and energy to drive progress for the built environment. Perhaps most importantly, we are looking for a CEO to share our passion and relentlessly champion our vision and mission.
