Welcome to Futures Housing Group and thank you for your interest in joining our Board.<\/p>\n

Futures Housing Group is a successful and significant housing provider in the East Midlands. We aim to provide great homes and services for our customers. This is an excellent time to join us as we\u2019ve just launched our new corporate plan for 2024 and beyond.<\/p>\n

Where we are<\/h2>\n

After a more than a decade of housebuilding, we already own and manage over 10,000 homes and serve more than 20,000 customers, families and communities. Our core purpose is to provide social and affordable housing and play our part in increasing the supply of much-needed housing. We have top regulatory ratings for governance and financial viability. We also have access to resources that will enable us to maintain our homes well and build even more thanks to hugely successful refinancing.<\/p>\n

Futures Housing Group is a strong voice in the East Midlands and we\u2019re proud to be a longstanding and active member of the National Housing Federation. We\u2019re also part of PlaceShapers, an alliance of over 100 community-focused housing associations that believe in being much more than landlords. Last but not least, we are enthusiastic supporters of a range of national campaigns to serve our existing customers as well as to build more homes and provide affordable accommodation for future customers.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Our strategic plans have a renewed focus and vigour on providing good quality and safe homes as well as great services for our customers. This doesn\u2019t simply mean getting bigger \u2013 it means getting much better too. We\u2019re transforming how we interact with our customers in a challenging economic environment through investing in new technology and increasing our use of digital platforms. We\u2019re extremely proud of our latest In-Depth Assessment G1\/V1 outcome and want to build on this by investing in the long-term future of our customers, homes and communities. We will also continue looking for opportunities to further grow and develop in our region.<\/p>\n

Our Board has worked hard to ensure we operate as one team. In preparation for some of our Board Directors reaching the end of their tenure, we are eager to strengthen the team and have identified a requirement for two non-executive directors to join our co-terminous Board (four companies within the Group).<\/p>\n

We are seeking senior strategic leaders with experience of working with or on a board as well as strong stakeholder management skills. Areas of expertise sought are:<\/p>\n

Finance and Treasury –<\/b>\u00a0to join our Audit and Risk Committee, potentially becoming the next Committee Chair<\/p>\n

Development and\/or Assets<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 to join the Asset Investment Committee. We may also appoint an Independent Member to join the Asset Investment Committee.<\/p>\n
