- Futures is faced with a similar challenge to other housing associations: we must ensure that our residents are safe, we want to make as much of a contribution to making our homes net carbon zero as we can and we want to continue to invest in our homes and look for opportunities across our communities to create new homes. All of these carry considerable costs. There is no right answer to this, but please tell us the way in which you as a Board Director would go about thinking through these challenges.
