FHA is a national, not-for-profit, registered provider of social housing to vulnerable adults throughout the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

We work closely with local authorities and care providers to provide high quality, affordable and sustainable housing to those in need of care and support. We are regulated by Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) to ensure that our services meet and surpass the expected standards.<\/p>\n

Having the right place to live is key to unlocking an independent life for anyone, so it is our mission to provide the people we support with a home where they can live as independently as possible, developing strong community connections, support networks in a safe and supportive environment.<\/p>\n

At FHA, our tenants are important to us, and we place an emphasis on their choices and aspirations. All our tenants, with the correct housing and support services, have the right to take control of their own lives.<\/p>\n

We believe that every vulnerable adult has the right to good quality housing and support within a community that accepts, embraces and supports their right to live independently.<\/p>\n

FHA prides itself on providing high quality bespoke supported housing through a focussed person-centred approach to our housing. We understand the enormous need for long term specialist supported housing, outside of institutions. Particularly for client groups who may never achieve full independence but who aspire to improve their quality of life and levels of self-management which are difficult to attain in other settings.<\/p>\n

We will take the high standards of homes we currently provide and replicate that standard wherever we can find client groups in need of supported housing, and high-quality care providers.<\/p>\n

Most of our properties are new build or recently converted older buildings and typically form part of a community of supported living properties within larger supported living schemes.<\/p>\n

Our Board<\/h2>\n

FHA is supported and led by a multi-skilled, professional, and experienced Board. The Board has now been in place for several years with our last appointment in 2022. In this time the Board have overseen significant change to the organisation. The Board and Executive recognises the ongoing challenges that FHA face, but remain focused on our tenants, improving services and increasing performance.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Liam Bradley \u2013 Board Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n

A passionate believer in promoting access to justice, Liam has a history of standing up for the rights of disadvantaged people. Liam has significant experience in negotiation and representing individuals and landlords in housing benefit appeals with a strong focus on appeals concerning \u201cspecified accommodation\u201d.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
