CCHA owns and manages more almost 7,400 homes in rural and urban communities across the north of England.<\/p>\n<h2>Our purpose is:<\/h2>\n<p><em>\u201cProviding affordable homes and sustainable communities with pride, passion, principles and partnership.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>This is supported by the organisation\u2019s corporate values:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ownership<\/li>\n<li>Ambition<\/li>\n<li>Respect<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Our offer to our customers is shaped by our commitments, and we:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver services which are locally focused<\/li>\n<li>Continually review services, working alongside our customers and partners to shape and improve services<\/li>\n<li>Provide access to our services in a range of ways to suit our customers\u2019 needs and lifestyles<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do<\/li>\n<li>Develop services which provide good value<\/li>\n<li>Develop new homes across the north of England to meet affordable housing need.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>CCHA has an annual turnover of around \u00a336m and employs over 290 colleagues. We are investing significantly in providing new affordable homes, with plans to develop 600 homes during the lifespan of our current Corporate Strategy \u2013 see \u2018further reading\u2019 links below.<\/p>\n<h2>Governance Structure<\/h2>\n<p>CCHA is governed by the Board, which is responsible for making strategic decisions and setting the strategies and direction of the organisation. The Board is supported by three Committees, each with specific areas of responsibility and delegations, which report back to the Board. The Committees are Audit &amp; Risk, Finance &amp; Investment, and Staffing &amp; Governance. Board Members sit on at least one Committee and may be asked to serve on \u00a0Board Working Groups.
